For our company, the health of our employees is an essential value and a real commitment, because we hold the health of our people close to our HEARTS. We strongly believe in the culture of prevention and want to contribute to its spread, promoting an initiative aimed at concretely raising awareness on the subject.
oday in our country, cardiovascular diseases are one of the major causes of mortality and disability, which is why we launched the project WORKING WITH HEART, joining the prevention campaign “Screening for Ascending Aortic Aneurysms”: a program promoted and organized by the CARDIOTEAM FOUNDATION ONLUS. Through this partnership, we offered our employees the opportunity to have a free echocardiogram in a mobile medical clinic, right at the company. This initiative allowed us to identify the existing percentages among employees of major cardiovascular risk factors (smoking, overweight, family history, hypertension, etc.) and the data on heart diseases found during the echocardiogram.
